Stage 1 - First Fix Cabling
We now on the first fix Stage of the property, the most important part of the job.
Good Planning at this stage can make the difference between a work of art that speaks for itself in the years to come or a big disappointment to householder.
So before the work began we made sure that the present and future needs of the householder where addressed.
We looked at power points, lighting, telecommunication, and satellite point positions for best use to the family. We also decided that it would be best to run the cables in for a dial up intruder alarm now which will save coat when they decide on a future installation.
So far so good, all the cables are in - a good time to make sure that our client is happy with the positions before the next stage.
Stage 2 - 2nd Fix
We are back after the plumber, the carpenter and then the plasterers. The place looks great all we have to do now is just put the faces on the boxes. This is easy – we don’t have to worry about wonky sockets and switches and lights that don’t line up.
Everything is spot on – job well done!
All together we spent about 3 days on the first fix a break of almost a month and then 2 days on the second fix, a total of 5 days which is about right. We didn’t touch the kitchen which will be are next project. This should take about 2 days.

I can certainly vouch for all the things written here that they are doing in my home :)
